My Adventure to Taluntunan Falls
Last February 15, 2025, I joined our Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF) Valentines pictorial at Taluntunan Falls in Manogtong, Ayungon, Negros Oriental . CYF is a youth group in our church, and every February we celebrate a post-Valentines Social with the blessing and grace of God. Before that celebration, we always have a pictorial, and this year we chose Taluntunan Falls as the perfect place. Location: Sitio Ilaya, Manogtong, Ayungon, Negros Oriental How to get there? If you’re coming from Dumaguete, Ayungon, or other nearby towns, you can take a Ceres bus or any public transport bound for Crossing Manogtong . From there, ride a motorcycle going to Cansalanga for only ₱20. After that, the adventure begins with a 5 kilometer walk that usually takes about an hour. The trail is both exciting and challenging since you’ll pass along the side of a mountain and even some cliffs. But since I’m from Manogtong, I didn’t need to ride anything.
